Chaire d'Omar (Chair of Omar)

A freestanding triple archway and small stone tower that are at one corner of the plaza surrounding the Dome of the Rock. Chair of Omar also known as Minbar Burhan al-Din stands immediately adjacent to the southern colonnade of the Dome of the Rock terrace.

The Philae temple complex was dismantled and relocated to Agilkia island, as part of a wider UNESCO project related to the 1960s construction of the Aswan High Dam and the eventual flooding of many sites posed by its large reservoir upstream.
